Our Store Policies
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern consumer purchases through the Oavelle online store. The store and contract language is English. Your mandatory consumer rights remain available regardless of these terms.
Each listing identifies the item and available variants. Select your options and review the description, quantity, delivery address and total before ordering. Editorial room photographs are styling inspiration; furniture and accessories are included only when a product listing explicitly says so.
Prices are in EUR and include applicable VAT. Delivery charges and the total payable are shown before payment. Payment methods are those actually offered at checkout for your order. Provider-specific terms are presented where relevant. No optional paid extra or marketing subscription is required to make a purchase.
An order is accepted when we issue an order confirmation following a successful order. We do not reserve an unrestricted right to change an accepted price or substitute a different product. If an item becomes unavailable or an obvious price error is identified, we will contact you to agree a lawful resolution and return any payment owed.
Our Shipping Policy explains delivery charges, estimates, split parcels and tax-paid delivery. Our Returns & Withdrawal Policy explains the 30-day voluntary return offer and the separate statutory right of withdrawal. Fulfilment by a supply partner does not remove our responsibilities as seller.
Legal remedies for faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods remain available. A voluntary return period, supplier warranty or care instruction does not replace the legal guarantee. Any lawful exception to withdrawal must be specific and explained before purchase.
Keep account access secure and contact us if you suspect misuse. Do not use the website to commit fraud or interfere with its services. These rules do not permit arbitrary forfeiture of paid orders or consumer rights. Newsletter consent is separate from purchasing.
For questions or complaints, use our Contact page and include your order number and a description of the issue. Never send passwords or full payment-card details. We will investigate and explain the next steps.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer protections or access to the courts available under applicable law. Updated terms apply to future orders; an accepted order remains governed by the terms supplied for it, subject to law.
Privacy Policy
This notice explains how personal information is used when you browse Oavelle, contact us, create an account, subscribe or place an order. You can use our Contact page to ask a privacy question or exercise your rights.
Information and purposes
We use the contact and order details you provide to process purchases, arrange delivery, answer questions and handle returns. This can include your name, email, delivery and billing addresses, ordered items, transaction reference and relevant correspondence. The contractual basis covers steps you request before buying and performance of your purchase. Information needed to fulfil an order is necessary for that service; subscribing to a newsletter is not.
We retain records needed for applicable tax, accounting and other legal obligations. Limited security, fraud-prevention and dispute information may be processed for legitimate interests, subject to balancing those interests against your rights. Optional newsletters rely on consent. Optional analytics and advertising technologies require the consent applicable to them.
If you create an account, its details are used to provide account services and access to your orders. Information submitted to support is used to respond and document the outcome. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information, passwords or full card numbers in messages.
Service providers
The website uses Wix. Services used for hosting, checkout, payment, delivery, supplier fulfilment, communication and consent management process information needed for their role. Delivery information is shared with the relevant fulfilment partner and carrier to deliver your order. Authorities or professional advisers may receive information where lawfully required.
International processing
International supply partners and technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Transfers must be covered by an applicable lawful mechanism and relevant safeguards. You may request information about the safeguards applying to your information through our Contact page.
Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as needed for its purpose, including applicable legal retention duties and claims periods. Account and support information is assessed according to the ongoing service and need to resolve queries. Consent records are retained as necessary to demonstrate choices. After an unsubscribe, a minimal suppression record may be kept to respect that choice.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where the legal conditions apply. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. Withdraw newsletter consent using the unsubscribe link. Withdrawal does not retrospectively invalidate processing that was lawful before it.
We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. Requests are generally handled within one month; any lawful extension will be explained. You may complain to a data protection authority, including in your habitual residence, place of work or the place of an alleged infringement.
Cookies and changes
The Cookie Policy explains essential and optional technologies. Material changes to processing require an updated notice and, where necessary, renewed consent. Marketing consent is separate from purchasing or contacting support.
Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar technologies allow a website to store or access information in your browser or device. Some are essential for security, your shopping cart, sign-in and remembering consent choices. Others can remember preferences, measure visits or support marketing.
Essential services remain enabled where strictly necessary. Optional technologies require your choice before activation. Closing a consent banner or continuing to browse does not mean that you agree to optional cookies.
The consent panel lets you accept optional technologies, reject them or customise your choice by category. You can change your choice later through Cookie Settings. Rejecting optional technologies must still allow ordinary browsing and purchasing. Features that depend on an optional third party may require separate activation before loading.
Your browser also provides controls to inspect or remove cookies and similar stored information. Removing essential data can affect a saved cart or sign-in. Browser controls and the site consent panel serve different purposes; deleting cookies may cause the consent panel to ask for your choice again.
For information about personal data, rights and privacy requests, read the Privacy Policy or contact us using the Contact page.
Payment Methods
Available payment methods are shown at checkout for your location and order. A payment method is offered only when it is connected and available for that transaction.
Prices are displayed in EUR with applicable VAT included. Review your items, delivery charge and final total before paying.
Never send your full card number, security code or password through our contact form or chat. Payment questions can be sent through the Contact page using your order number.
